Sam is a certified trauma informed somatic parent coach who specialises in helping parents achieve and maintain optimal emotional well being alongside providing support for any parenting challenges that they may be facing.
First Hand Experience
As well as being a parent herself Sam struggled for many years with symptoms of trauma such as depression, anxiety, self harm, addictions, OCD and emotional and nervous system dysregulation.
Through her own journey of personal healing and growth Sam developed a passion and a unique insight for helping other parents navigate their own emotional well being challenges.
Professional Practice
After a long career in early years education, focusing on special educational needs, Sam made the move into providing parent coaching services on a one to one basis, as well as delivering online group courses.
Sam recognised that what parents needed more than more tools and techniques was a safe space where they would be seen and heard without fear of judgment. A place where they could receive understanding and compassion to work through the many challenges that they were facing. Sam has invested heavily in studying and training so that she can provide that space and is able to offer emotional healing modalities alongside practical parenting support, because she recognises just how important your emotional wellbeing is.

As a trauma informed somatic parent coach and Embodied Processing practitioner, Sam’s role is to work alongside you to address the challenges you face and support you towards achieving a higher level of emotional well being. Through personalised support, guidance and encouragement, alongside Sam’s expertise in interpersonal neurobiology, the neuroscience of behaviour, nervous system regulation, Parts Work, Embodied Processing, Brainspotting and somatic therapy she can help you cultivate greater self-awareness, nervous system regulation and emotional well being.
